Because every human thought was evil (Genesis 6:5) that led to evil deeds, God wiped out the whole human race with the flood. Even though Noah’s family of eight people were saved, soon after that evil surfaced again. One of Noah’s sons shew disrespect for him leading to his curse upon that son and his descendants.
